Michael Nicholson

A Chartered Accountant, Michael spent five years with BP and three years as Finance Director and Compliance Officer with an insurance broker.  A founding partner/director of Abacus in 1989, Michael has overseen the establishment of Abacus as the leading provider of financial services to the Armed Forces.


Mike Crofts

Mike joined Abacus in 1989 having spent the previous 12 years within the insurance industry.  Having lived and worked in both BFG and the UK, he brings to Abacus over 25 years of experience in meeting the specialist insurance and financial planning needs of members of the Armed Forces.


Andrew Davies

Andrew spent 25 years within Chartered Accountancy, including 3 years as managing director of an independent financial adviser and latterly as national technical director.  He joined Abacus in 2005 with responsibility for all financial and compliance functions.


Jeff Mostyn

As a founding partner/director of Abacus, Jeff brought many years of financial services marketing and sales experience to bear in establishing the high profile enjoyed by the Abacus group.  Dedicated to customer service, Jeff fulfils the important liaison role between senior military personnel and the Abacus management.
