Military Kit Insurance Claims

Making a claim for loss or damage to Military Kit, Contents , Personal Possessions or causing injury or damage to a third party.

When telephoning please be aware that:

Whilst we will be as quick as possible, the call could last up to 15 minutes depending on complexity
You will be asked questions that will allow us to establish your identity

With all claims whether by telephone or email:

You may be asked to provide proof of ownership
You may be asked to provide at your expense an engineers report
If goods are damaged an inspection may be requested
If theft is involved you will be required to obtain a crime reference from the police (civilian and or Military)
If your loss is serious, such as a fire or flood, it may be necessary for a loss adjuster to visit you
If property is to be replaced you are likely to receive a telephone call from one of our preferred suppliers in order to make arrangements.
You may be advised that a longer telephone conversation is required and you will be called by appointment. This is standard industry practice for claims involving loss or accidental damage.
You will be given a projected timescale for settling your claim
The claims unit aims to deal with all communications within 3 working days of receipt.
